MAY DAYS IN BARCELONA
May Days in Barcelona is the work of multi-instrumentalist Simon Clowes performing initially at a number of performance art events in Newcastle. Live shows are based around Simon using up to 4 loop pedals simultaneously, to create a melodic wall of sound, with violins weaving over fuzzy shoegaze guitars and analogue synths, drawing on elements of Post-Rock, Minimalism and Baroque Pop.

BENEDICT HAWKIN
Benedict Hawkin is a Northumbrian singer/songwriter and guitarist now living in Leeds. Benedict combines an intricate and idiosyncratic apporach the the acoustic guitar with dense, symbolic, and narrative driven lyrics evocative of Joanna Newsom, Jez Lowe, Joni Mitchell, and Stan Rogers.
