Bomba brings you "Back to the 40s" with this new daytime event; perfect for anyone living alone, the elderly, or those who just can’t get enough of that 1940s vibe. Come along for a fun social day out on the Exeter Quay with a 1940s-themed stage, cozy seating, and delicious cream teas included with the show ticket. Plus, we’ve got a 1940s menu and a variety of drinks to keep the good times rolling.
From a live band to soulful vocals, we’ve got a show that’ll keep you entertained:
- Star Performers: Brian Phillips’ son Frankie on keyboard and Victoria Leonard on vocals!
- Special Guests: we're super excited to welcome the fantastic 5-piece band, Sounds of Brass! This amazing brass quintet includes 4 former Royal Marines and a Queens Life Guard (mounted band) members.
They’ve played for the Royal Family at some pretty fancy events like:
- Trooping the Colour (Queen’s Birthday Parade)
- Garden Parties
- Concerts
- On the Royal Yacht
- State Dinners
- Passing Out Parades
1940s Costume: Dress up in your best 1940s attire for extra fun (totally optional but super cool)!
Cream Teas: Savor traditional English cream teas with freshly baked scones, clotted cream, and jam in a lovely 1940s setting. Experience British hospitality at its finest!
Photo Ops: Snap some memories at our 1940s-themed stage with fun props and the chance to dance the day away!
Drinks: Enjoy a variety of bar drinks, wines, spirits, and ales to keep you refreshed.
