In this case, it’s the music.

This Good Friday we will be taking over The New Sundial, slap bang in the middle of the breathtaking South Shields coastline. An outdoor area will play host to an extensive roster of DJ’s from 4pm through until 10pm. Once the sun has set we take things inside from 8pm through until 2am.

Both spaces with be completely transformed, designed to immerse all in attendance and show you exactly what Distrkt is all about. Full large scale production will be in place throughout both areas. 

Return travel is available from Newcastle city centre to the venue. Outbound from Newcastle at 3.30pm and returning at 2.15am.

We are bringing in an artist who has had a rapid rise to the forefront of the electronic music scene over the past couple of years. In just a short space of time, emerging electronic artist Jansons has clocked up a catalogue of well-received releases on coveted imprints 8bit, Four Thirty Two, Knee Deep In Sound, VIVa MUSiC and more - achieving numerous Beatport Top 10 positions as well as a 2018 bestseller with the electric roller that is 'JNZ'. 

Jansons music has been championed by hugely notable selectors such as Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, Joris Voorn, Nicole Moudaber and The Martinez Brothers, his music is undeniably resonating with DJs and crowds alike. 

Having recently performed at world renowned venues such Fabric, The Warehouse Project and Watergate, Berlin, we can't wait to place him front and centre in the middle of this huge up and coming production for our launch event.  

He is joined by Distrkt residents Adison and Matthew Fenton, and an extensive list of high energy selectors from across the North-East and beyond.
