Charlie Smith

My name might be common, but my style is alternative. I'm Charlie Smith a raw, honest, singer-songwriter from Hampshire, UK. I host and perform at my own shows at venues such as the Railway Inn, The Attic, and Crosfield Hall.  In October 2023, I embarked on my first solo tour of northern England, performing in Leicester, Leeds, Liverpool, and Stockton. My most recent 'DIY Tour 24' was built around showcasing local musicians and took me along the south of England (Brighton, Portsmouth, London, and Southampton). The 3-track single 'God Doesn't Hate You' Recorded on a Zoom R8 is my first release of 2025 marking an adventure back into lo-fi recording. Using nothing but a portable recorder, its microphones & effects, proved a welcome challenge. What the three tracks lack in polish they make up with creativity. It proves that even with limited studio equipment you can make music.

Mathilda Mae

Growing up in an independent family-owned guitar shop, Mathilda has crafted her own unique twist on the alternative folk genre. Drawing influences from the likes of Lizzy McAlpine and Ben Platt, Mathilda aims to build on her sound and sharing her life experiences through her story driven lyrics. Mathilda released her EP ‘It’s Nothing’ in November of last year.

Meridea

Olive Hart and "Kat on Keys" Neeson are an exciting new musical duo from Bournemouth, who debuted last year with their first public performances including Freezone Festival, Solid Air, Cherry Bombs and other local music nights. Blending genres such as rock, folk, soul and jazz, often with a dark, gothic undertone; every song is an experience unto itself. Olive's emotive songwriting tells stories, both relatable and fantastical, and Kats' beautifully hypnotic keyboard accompaniment brings them to life!

Leon Rain

Leon Rain is an acoustic rock singer-songwriter whose music delves into themes of love, transformation, and resilience. Drawing inspiration from natural forces like lightning, storms, and the rising moon, his lyrics often reflect moments of change and self-discovery. Influenced by artists such as Kings of Leon, Fleetwood Mac, and Hozier, Leon’s sound blends introspective lyricism with acoustic rock’s raw energy. His voice carries a balance of vulnerability and strength, creating an honest connection with the listener. Through his music, Leon explores the highs and lows of life, capturing the beauty and complexity of human emotion in every song.
