Trevor Nelson returns to Leeds Saturday December 16th for a two floor Christmas special of Soul Nation residency in The Wardrobe.

This time around we are converting the upstairs area of The Wardrobe into a proper 80s and early 90s old school room - putting in a brand new DJ booth, a big sound system, lights and turning it into a proper club room for the older old school crew.

Then the room downstairs will be home to late 90s and 00s hip hop and RNB - so both rooms strictly old school but catering for the different eras of RNB with Trevor Nelson doing a set in both rooms alongside DJ Troopa, DJ Hanif (The Lick) and other guests.

So for everyone that wanted more 90s and 00s hip hop and RNB we're giving you what you need!!!

PS We've also increased the size of the cloakroom and number of bar staff to make sure our guests get looked after on this new date at The Wardrobe, so hopefully an improved experience all round!

Trevor Nelson holds a cornerstone in UK music history with a career that spans decades and genres. London native began on then pirate radio station which we’ve come to know as Kiss FM. Nelsons took fans through his collection of Soul, R&B, Reggae and Dancehall on a daily basis with his BBC Radio 1 Extra stint. Now that he’s moved to only presenting on Sundays he’s ready to grace fans with something special.
