Factory w Dan Shake & Only Child

We were introduced to Ollie (Only Child) through a mutual friend, a young lad who wanted to get in the booth and share their sound, however over the past 2 years he has gone on to cement himself as part of the foundations of what makes Gonzo's Two Room special. He is a resident DJ, artist liaison, videographer who lives and breaths the venue. 

We're excited to have worked alongside him and given him a platform for his first ever series of parties - Factory. 

Curated by ONLY CHILD, Factory is a three-part event series paying homage to the rich history of house music while sharing his own vision of its sonic future. Characterised by big vocals, piano solos and face-melting acid wobblers reminiscent of those which once dripped from warehouse ceilings both sides of the Atlantic, celebrating sets that bring 90s energy with a modern twist.

If you’re going to pick a name like Dan Shake, you better have the goods to back it up. With a never-ending tour schedule and his own productions in the record bags of countless established DJ heroes, Shake lives up to his billing. His love of groove – ranging from sparky acid to Brazilian samba, itchy funk to heavyweight house – fuels his drive to make those around him dance as keenly as he does. At a party, Dan Shake isn’t just loaded with peak-time weapons: he is one.
