Sugar for the Bee is a rock power-trio based in Salford, Manchester. Formed in 2023, lead guitarist Rhys Parry, drummer Alex Slaven and lead vocal/bass player Tom Rivans combine their individual influences to create a new sound, taking influence from 70’s classic rock to 90’s metal and modern heavy rock. Their groove based jam band sound pulls these genres together to create a new and fresh perspective on the original heavy rock sound. The band refers to this combination of sounds as ‘Honey Rock’. In August of 2024, they released their first single ‘Heavy Weather’, and have much more arriving in the near future.
