Manchester, UK – Starting Monday, October 14th, 2024 – Clampdown Promotions is excited to announce the launch of "Odyssey Sessions" at The Rat & Pigeon, a captivating and atmospheric night of jazz, funk, and soul in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. This event will take place on the first Monday of every month (except for the opening night which will in fact be the second Monday of October) from 7:30PM to 11PM, offering an unforgettable evening of live music with Free Entry for all. "Odyssey Sessions" will be hosted at The Rat & Pigeon, the brand-new pub, event space and grassroots venue house in the historic boozer with a macabre past; formerly known as Mother Macs. Opening its doors on June 6th, 2024, The Rat & Pigeon now boasts a vibrant 3-floor, 2-bar boozer with a dedicated live event space making it the perfect setting for an exciting new series of live music events like Clampdown’s “Odyssey Sessions”.

The event promises to be a highlight on Manchester’s cultural scene, offering a platform for both established and emerging artists from across the UK to showcase their talents. The venue will feature a mix of candlelit seating and standing areas, perfect for those who crave a jazzy vibe. Guests of the event can enjoy the self contained event space complete with private bar, an outdoor smoking terrace, and a separate space.

The premier line-up for "Odyssey Sessions" is set to impress, headlined by the sensational Melanie Raebeurn, an act you may recognise from the popular ‘Whiskey Jar’ open mic nights, performing live complete with full band. Supporting acts include the dynamic Kendra and the captivating Deni Davidescu, making this a must-attend event for music lovers.
