They’ve spent 5 years cutting their teeth and cementing themselves as a distinct highlight of the live rock scene in their adopted home of Berlin. Playing some of the most infamous clubs and headlining local festivals, the band made a reputation for themselves as an ecstatic and anxious live act with no reservations supporting established bands such as The Undertones, The Happy Fits and The Bluestones.As much inspired by the white heat of disco and afrobeat, as the perverted dirge of the Berlin club scene, The Usual Boys’ music is a sonic stare in the mirror. Angular, janky guitars and driving bass underpin a dark yet playful take on a young man’s ascent into adulthood.

Bored of your standard rock? Like a bit of funk in your punk? Flat Moon have got you covered with our mix ‘n’ match of danceable grooves and screaming vocals - it’s kinda like Funkadelic meets The Hives meets Zappa, but also somehow none of the above. We pride ourselves on our heavy funk riffs with a smidge of completely unorganised chaos sprinkled in and amongst (basically throughout the whole show). Don’t worry about things in life you can’t control (like how flat the moon is) - simply come to our show and freak out for a bit, let loose, have a drink, have a dance and have a good time.
