An eclectic fusion of the UK’s finest comedy club comedians and a venue that has seen an epic 21st Century reimagination, Comedy – Live at The Garage is the rapidly becoming the sell-out show you need to see.
Lineup:
Topping the bill is winner of ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’ the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV’s Splash. Of Irish-Iranian descent,but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves his audiences wanting for more.
Opening the night will be finalist in the 2018 English Comedian Of The Year competition and ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ Finalist 2013, the dead pan Tom Taylor. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he boasts an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.
Completing the line-up is BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist Ricky Balshaw a former Paralympic, World Championship and European Championship dressage medallist, and sports pundit with a penchant for dark humour.
Compere for the night will be the delightful, fast-paced and original Harriet Dyer who has appeared on ‘The Russell Howard Hour’, with her wacky, but true tales of life before she became a stand-up. Often going off at a tangent to include the crowd, she then spins it back in her whimsical way.
