Eastwood Events presents: 'Women For Women' charity fundraiser and acoustic live music showcase, held at The Folklore Rooms on Tuesday 22nd April.
For the evening we will have 4 live acoustic acts performing from 8-10:45pm. Acts Include: Phoebe Aston, Amy Palmer, Evangeline Eastwood and Baby Eleanor.
About our acts...
Phoebe Aston: 'Phoebe Aston is a 25 year old singer-songwriter whose emotions and soulful sound is making waves in the Brighton music scene. Influenced by powerhouse vocalists such as Adele, John Legend and Amy Winehouse, as well as contemporary artists like YEBBA, Phoebe's music blends elements of Soul and R'n'B, delivering raw emotion and heartfelt storytelling in every performance.'
Amy Palmer: 'Amy Palmer is an independent artist based in Brighton, UK crafting soulful music inspired by R&B and pop.'
Evangeline Eastwood: 'Evangeline Eastwood is a Soul-rock Singer, Songwriter and Self-taught Pianist based in Brighton. A powerhouse reminiscent of Janis Joplin, Adele and Joss Stone. Her vocals reflect a combination of soulful melismas and rocky screams. Accompanied by her backing vocalists, Evangeline's music explores the duality of love and heartbreak as well as challenges misogyny and sexism.'
Baby Eleanor: 'Baby Eleanor is a singer.-songwriter based in Brighton. Influenced by the likes of Julie London and Ella Fitzgerald while lyrically and melodically taking inspiration from Anderson Pak, Eryka Badu and Amy Winehouse.'
