Jude should be remembered as being vibrant and beautiful and always wanting to party. She lived for the weekend and was always the first on the dancefloor and the one last off.
The kindest and most accepting soul, who just lived for the weekend.
Over the years, we loved a good stomp at Dance Academy, C103, Sound Factory, The Hub, Nemesis and any other places that the tunes were stomping. She was loved by so many people as her shining personality and absolute love and support of our local dance scene was infectious.
The excitement that we used to share together before our nights out will stay with me forever.
Texts of outfit ideas, always impatient and wanting to leave way too early to go out, to the point where we used to get let in to places while DJ's were still sound checking
Always shouting at them to play harder music, even if it was a trance night
she did it JUDY STYLE.
She will be with us in spirit on this incredible night, at the front, telling me off for talking too much and generally annoying her, looking out for everyone and making us laugh.
Her love and devotion to her family, especially her son Jacob, brother Wayne and sister Emily is something special. She is a loyal sister, mum and friend and will leave a huge hole in all of our lives. The way that we have all supported her and each other through this has been incredible.
Jude was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in March. It was shocking and sudden. She was lucky enough to be able to have surgery as it hadn't spread at that point. Unfortunately, it spread very quickly afterwards. She has handled the whole situation with strength and dignity. ALWAYS!! Even when she was scared and sad.
She only ever thought of others feelings, how they would cope and never once considered herself brave. Those who have been around her will tell you a very different story.
She would be so buzzed at the thought of everyone coming together, for the biggest party, with the best tunes, with all of her favourite djs and friends dancing for her.
Let's do her proud and make this night all about her. Let's show our appreciation for the beautiful woman that was JUDY ROBERTS
