Sam Scherdel - Edinburgh Banshee Labyrinth Meet Me On The Moon Tour 2025

Sam Scherdel is gearing up for his first-ever UK tour in support of his debut EP, "Meet You On The Moon." Known as the “South Yorkshire Springsteen,” he delivers hook-laden, energetic songs with his trademark gravelly growl. A soulful songwriter, Sam has been creating music since his teens and started sharing his work in 2022. His sound, deeply rooted in rock and alternative influences, reflects his musical upbringing.

Since launching his career, Sam has garnered praise from national platforms like BBC Introducing and Radio X. His journey has taken him from intimate bar gigs to supporting major acts in arena-sized venues. With over 2,000 ticket sales—including a headline show at the iconic Leadmill—and notable festival appearances, he is quickly establishing himself as a significant talent in the music scene.

Winter 2025 will see the release of "Meet You On The Moon," available in a limited edition of 300 marble vinyl copies and digitally via Blaggers Records, backed by Ditto Music. The release will be accompanied by a tour and six single releases, positioning him for a bright future in the alternative/indie landscape.

Critics are already taking notice, with Louder Than War suggesting he might have found the festival anthem of the summer. A&R Factory praises him as “Sheffield’s answer to Springsteen,” while RGM highlights his musicianship. Forge Press believes it won’t be long before audiences are singing every word of his songs.

Prepare to experience the passion and energy of Sam Scherdel on his upcoming tour.
