Grimmfest presents a ‘Zombie' Double Bill, in association with Horror Channel's upcoming Zombie movie season in March.
Shaun of the Dead (15) is a horror comedy film starring Simon Pegg, Kate Ashfield and Nick Frost. Written and directed by Edgar Wright. Embrace the famous George A. Romero parody on the big screen. A man decides to turn his moribund life around by winning back his ex-girlfriend, reconciling his relationship with his mother and dealing with an entire community that has returned from the dead to eat the living.
Zombieland (15) is a post-apocalyptic zombie comedy film starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone. A shy student trying to reach his family in Ohio, a gun-toting tough guy trying to find the last Twinkie, and a pair of sisters trying to get to an amusement park join forces to travel across a zombie-filled America. With a sequel due later this year, see the original in all its big screen, ‘zombie kill of the week’ glory.
Films will start promptly at the advertised times.
This event is sponsored by the Horror Channel.
