HMC Social with Jon Dasilva

House Music Collective is extremely proud to present this year's summer social with Jon Dasilva at the Tunnel Club in Nottingham.

Jon Dasilva's career has spanned over three decades beginning in what many consider to be the most important and influential club of it's generation, Fac 51 the Hacienda.  Dasilva and DJ Mike Pickering started the wildly popular Ibiza-inspired HOT nights, which are seen by many as the birthplace of UK acid house.  During his residency, he became well known for his use of a cappella vocals and sound effects. Such techniques influenced a new generation of young DJs, including Sasha, who credits Dasilva for teaching him how to mix harmonically and build sets.

​A mercurial producer, he has had a string of cutting edge productions to his name with releases on labels including Ellum Audio, Rush Hour, Soma, Mute, Last Night On Earth, Sprechen and many more.

HMC, although still a relatively young group, prides itself on promoting different genres and style of house music. We welcome the opportunity to bring you all together in Nottingham, the birthplace of the infamous DIY. 

This is a non profit night and promises to be a gathering of fun, joy and incredible music as we party the night away on the same street as the legendary club Venus.
