Tinchy Stryder, born Kwasi Danquah III, is a British-Ghanaian grime artist and entrepreneur. Emerging from East London's grime scene as a member of Ruff Sqwad, he gained mainstream success with hits like "Number 1" featuring N-Dubz and "Take Me Back" with Taio Cruz. Known for blending grime, hip hop, and pop, Tinchy has become one of the genre’s most commercially successful artists. Beyond music, he's a savvy businessman, co-founding Takeover Roc Nation and launching the popular "Star in the Hood" clothing line. Tinchy's influence continues to shape UK grime and urban culture.
