A night of FREE-thinking comedy with Alistair Williams, Junior Booker, Cressida Wetton, Samantha Day and Paul Cox!
Having consistently sold out shows in London for the past 6 years, Comedy Unleashed brings more of their refreshing brand of stand-up comedy to Hifi in Leeds.
Comedy Unleashed showcase comedians who have a spirit of exploration, counter-culture and who eschew the bland and predictable. And, if a comedian gets cancelled, we like to put them on. The audience should be the only judge and if something is funny… it’s funny. Here’s a video from the London club.
Alistair Williams
Alistair won Comedian of the Year 2023 - as voted by a live audience, not comedy industry wonks. Despite this, Alistair is excluded from many comedy clubs and banned from YouTube, Alistair Williams is utterly counter-cultural and bloody hilarious. Here’s clip of Alistair at the London club
Junior Booker
Junior is a young and charismatic comedian from South London. He has been ripping up shows all over the country for the past three years and went down a storm on his last visit to Leeds!
Samantha Day
Comedian and “titologist” Samantha Day wrote and performed The Booby Trap - an Edinburgh show entirely about breasts, and shortlisted for the 2023 Amused Moose Comedy Award. “Just brilliant - her tit material is without equal" - Arthur Smith

Cressida Wetton
Cressida appears on GB News satirical news review show Headliners and has appeared on BBC Radio 4 Extra and numerous shows at the Edinburgh Fringe including ‘Small Town Fools” – a show about provincial life in Gloucestershire, one of her favourite topics.
Paul Cox - compere
Paul is a regular comedian panellist on GB News shows Headliners and Free Speech Nation and he runs his own comedy club. Paul is best known for his ability to see the crazy news cycle from the perspective of a 'regular guy', keeping his views balanced but never shying away from the debate and sharing his opinions.
Why Comedy Unleashed?
Comedy Unleashed co-founder Andrew Doyle: “Andy Shaw and I set up Comedy Unleashed because we feel that the time is right for a new alternative comedy scene. We book comics from all cultural and political backgrounds, or those who have no interest in politics at all. Our key criteria is that they are talented and funny.”
