Hailed as one of South Yorkshire’s most exciting rising songwriting talents, Sam Scherdel is set to launch his debut 6-track EP, Meet Me On The Moon, with a one-off acoustic performance at the intimate Doncaster Little Theatre. Accompanied by a stripped-back band, this special evening promises raw and exclusive renditions of the EP's tracks.

The event will also feature a Q&A session with BBC Introducing DJ Christian Carlisle, giving fans an inside look at Sam’s creative journey and the making of his highly anticipated debut release.

Soulful songwriter Sam Scherdel has been penning music since his early teens finally releasing them with the world in 2022. With his gravelly voice contributing to his unique blueprint; his music is never too far strayed from the Rock and Alternative resonances that were the background of his youth.

Acclaim has followed from national BBC introducing, Radio X and hundreds of performances starting from bars years ago through to recently Arena sized supports following the release of his material all make Sam one of the songwriting talents awaiting to turn heads.

He has achieved over multiple sell out shows, Major festival appearances, and also support slots with Ocean Colour Scene, Cast, Embrace Reverend & The Makers, and Two Door Cinema Club.

February 6th 2025 will see his debut EP “Meet You On The Moon” released physically (300 Limited edition Marble Vinyl) and Digitally via Blaggers Records with support from Ditto music, supported by a tour and 6 single releases, ensuring the future looks exceptionally bright for the acclaimed alternative/indie star.
