Following on from a hugely successful performance at Manchester’s annual Pride celebrations this weekend, we are proud to announce that Basement Jaxx will be returning to the city once again in November as the special guest for Glitterbox X Defected at the iconic O2 Victoria Warehouse.

The English music duo, consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, have enjoyed huge success since they shot into the limelight in the mid 1990’s. Their name originated from the club night they began in London, Brixton in 1994 - Where they were joined by DJs including DJ Sneak, Daft Punk, and singer Corrina Joseph. Their music is a mixture of house, electronica, UK garage and big beat.

Over the years they have released six studio albums that have reached the charts in not only the UK but worldwide, featuring massive hits such as Romeo, Where’s Your Head At, Good Luck, Jump ‘N’ Shout and Oh My Gosh. 

Attendees of the event can expect a high energy set to match their stellar collection of tracks that are bound to get everyone in the venue moving. Team this with Glitterbox’s high end production that they always deliver, a lot of glitter and world class performers, and you’ve got one hell of a show.

Basement Jaxx will perform as the headliners for the Glitterbox stage, and will join the likes of Dimitri from Paris, The Shapeshifters ft. Teni Tinks and Melvo Baptiste for an evening of the finest quality House and Disco music from two of the largest event brands on the music scene right now - Glitterbox and Defected Records. 

The Defected stage lineup boasts Sam Divine, David Penn, Ferreck Dawn, Roberto Surace, Simon Dunmore and CDC.
