After releasing albums with 'Mai Rouge' and 'Big Guns' throughout the nineties, guitarists Jon Foottit, Wayne Lawson and Drummer Robin Ward recruited Alan Clarke - vocals and John Sykes - Keyboards, to form rock covers band RIOT. Playing all the rock classics from the likes of Bon Jovi, Journey and Van Halen, RIOT played sell out gigs throughout the North East for a number of years to high acclaim. After a thirteen year lay off the original line up re-formed last year, only to tragically lose Wayne before they managed to tread the boards once more. The band however decided to continue and play select gigs as a tribute to Wayne, with Aaron Warner now on Bass guitar.
