Hels Pattison plus support: Nadedja & Daysaver
Hels Pattison is a Newcastle based alt-country artist who cut her teeth on the open mic scene across North Tyneside and Newcastle. She is bringing her country/indie fusion to The Grove to mark the release of her debut EP “Just What I Do” - on the same day.
Through the EP, Hels weaves a cyclical narrative of love found and lost - capturing far reaching influences, from Phoebe Bridgers to Mary Chapin Carpenter. Throughout, Hels’ personable and honest songwriting is the stand out feature of the release, which carries into her live performances.
Her latest single ‘On the Horizon’ was praised by Shakk - BBC introducing as “powerful, dramatic and honestly magnificent”.
Having recently sold out the Newcastle venue ‘The Lost Wanderer’ and played local festivals such as ‘Pilgrimage to the Islands’ and ‘CoastFest’, this headline home show is not one to be missed.
