This events theme is: A chilled night!

Every Thursday in Nottingham a vibrant culture exchange takes place at the popular “Juice Bar” (same owners of Bunk & Pepper Rocks) transforming the private space upstairs into a lively hub of multicultural celebration. It is simply a laidback gathering of people from all over the world in one place, where we sit, chat, have a drink 🍹🍺 and engage in activities (optional to partake in). Each event also has a host or two that will run the event and make you feel welcome.

Each week we have a unique theme, showcasing diverse cultural traditions from around the world. Attendees can immerse themselves in an array of activities ranging from cultural presentations 📽 music sessions 🎸 to game night 🎲 art displays 🎨 and many more. We will often have a “No theme/chill night” where there is no specified theme, just the usual and relaxed get together. Unsure what our events look like? This dynamic gathering not only fosters cultural awareness but also strengthens communal bonds, making it a highlight of Nottingham's social calendar. We have a few regulars that attend but always get new people coming as well and will always make them feel welcome. A great spot to meet like minded people, where a lot of connections are made and friendships formed.

Whether you’re new to Nottingham or you’ve lived here all your life, studying a new foreign language or want to share your native language with others, be it Spanish, French, Mandarin, English, Arabic and more! come and join us every Thursday!

Cultural Exchange events are free (and will always be). If you like what we do, the vibe in our events, then feel free to invite others and spread the word! Also, we usually have snacks that are free for you to nibble on!
