SURFERS AGAINST SEWAGE BEACH CLEAN

We are fortunate to have one of the best beaches in the UK on our doorstep. But during the summer months the beach becomes increasingly popular with visitors and litter becomes a real problem.Surfers Against Sewage & Tynemouth Surf cafe welcome members of the public to join us on Sunday September 3rd to help protect and conserve our coastline by helping to remove rubbish from Longsands Beach and the surrounding areas. 

This year we’ve teamed up with Surfers Against Sewage who have kindly loaned us some reusable sacks, gloves and litter pickers for the event.BrewDog have also provided some planet friendly goodies to reward all participants.

Meet us at the surf cafe beer garden at 9:45am before we head down to begin the day. You can head back at any time but we suggest we aim to meet back at the surf cafe beer garden at 12pm where everyone can choose a free BrewDog beverage or a soft/hot drink.

We will also have some special volunteer discounted lunch options available from Brack Burger for anyone who needs to refuel after their efforts.To register please secure a free ticket here.
