Norwegian Jazz Folk Guitarist Jon Werede Hope @ the Gunmakers Arms

Jon Werede Hope is playing at the Gunmakers Arms in Birmingham on 29th July as part of his UK tour. 

Creating harmonious soundscapes with an acoustic guitar and a trusty Boss RC30 loop pedal, Jon Werede Hope has gained a well-deserved reputation as an exceptional musician in Norway, and now makes his performance debut in the United Kingdom. A trained dancer from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Jon Werede Hope knows how to captivate an audience and take them on an intimate and soul-searching journey through organic improvisation.

Performing alongside Jon Werede Hope will be Henry Lowrey, a British guitarist and mandolinist, obsessed with traditional folk music from the UK and across the world. Equipped with a bachelor degree in Ethnomusicology from SOAS, as well as vast experience from sessions across the country, Henry is excited to embrace his first national tour with Jon Werede Hope.
