Eastwood Events presents: 'Live Acoustic Showcase' + Dj set,  held at Cellar Arts Club, Worthing on Friday 28th March. 

For the evening with will have 5 acoustic live acts rom 8-10:35pm and then a DJ by Dia Joy set 10:45-11:45pm. Acts include Evangeline Eastwood, Molly Mckinna, Luan Luan, Stevoo Hide and Lucy Hannah.

About our acts...

Evangeline Eastwood: Evangeline Eastwood is a singer-songwriter based in Brighton. A powerhouse reminiscent of Janis Joplin, Adele and Joss Stone. Her vocals reflect a combination of Soulful melismas and Rocky screams. Accompanied by her backing vocalists, Evangeline's music explores the duality of love and heartbreak through her lyrics. @evangeline.eastwood

Luan Luan: From Madrid to Brighton, Luan Luan writes music to understand and express emotions through their synaesthetic conception of the world. Combining different genres like indie, pop, funk, r&B and soul as their natural way of creating music, Luan Luan has the power to bring the audience inside their vibrant and rhythmic style of playing: their finger style guitar work adds a very rhythmic edge to their writing, which beautifully underpins their. catchy melodies. Their unique voice and energy when playing challenge anybody to remain indifferent. @luanluanmusic

Molly McKinna: Inspired by modern and old school folk, 26 year old Molly McKenna takes the ambience from modern alternative music and brings an introverted look into personal, yet relatable experiences, inviting you to visualise your own storylines within the soundscape. Alongside influences such as Joni Mitchell, Gabrielle Aplin and Fleetwood Mac, Molly also captures inspiration from the surroundings from her upbringing by the sea-side of Brighton; through intricate picking on the guitar, unique vocals and ambient instrumentation. @mollymmusic

Stevoo Hide: Stevoo Hide is a songwriter, guitarist and singer based in Brighton, originally from Italy. After a band split late 2023, they/he started a solo project which takes you on a big swing between rock, Jazz and Grunge. @stevoohide

Lucy Hannah: Since picking up her dad's old guitar in lockdown, Lucy found a new love in acoustic guitar and singing. Since then she's sung indie folk and rock tunes around Worthing and Brighton pubs and more recently in and and around Canada. The sound you should expect to hear are your favourite indie classic with a slight folky twist! Her original songs hit on topics that are close to heart, feminism, anxiety and rollercoaster of emotions that come with being in your 20's. @luchannahmusic

Dia Joy (DJ): Dia Joy has a passion for playing high-energy, funky tunes that make you feel good. Influenced by a range of genres, Dia Joy's unique sound is a blend of classic Funk, Soul and modern grooves, sure to get people moving. Her infectious energy and love for music are evident in every set ! @diajoymusic
