After their fantastic show last time out, the dynamic duo are back
at Middlesbrough's Home Of Unpopular Music, 'Toft House'.
Tom Holliston (Show Business Giants, NoMeansNo) has been honing his skills as a
musical raconteur for the last 35 years and now ranks alongside luminary Victor
Borg as one of the best of the best. Believe nothing, laugh at everything,
and let Tom pleasure you with nothing but his voice, trusty guitar and the best bunch of tall tales known to humankind.
Satisfaction guaranteed!!!
Simon Wells (Southport, Snuff) has long since renounced his godlike status in
the Punk fraternity and now delivers some of the most stunning, raw, and
heartfelt folk music you will ever hear upon these Sceptred Isles. If you
are unlucky enough not to have heard Simon's solo work before, be prepared
for an extra special treat.
Lāla Rasē, feat Teesside’s mystery man Red Ropes and the stunning vocals of
Rachel Horner, have already delivered two enthusiastically received
performances at Toft House. Mixing Vocals, Piano and Electronica with Live
Accordion and Dulcimer, let yourself drift off into to a minimal world where
less is most definitely more!!
Pellethead, Teesside’s legendary sons are back again to open the bill. After
pulling a coup with their maiden acoustic voyage at Tom & Simon's last
Middlesbrough show, this time they will be firing on all cylinders. Laughs
aplenty, they will be playing some, all or none of your Pellethead favourites.
