Opening we have SOLDIERS OF RAGE formed in 2014 by Diogo Jones with the ambition of creating something out of nothing. Originating in Portugal and later moving to the UK, the band draws influences from Lamb Of God, Sylosis, Gojira, Machine Head, Decapitated, Switchtense, and many others.

The first song in the set was "FISTS OF VIOLENCE", which was originally written for a previous band D. Jones was in, with "WE ARE" following as the first official song D. Jones composed for SOLDIERS OF RAGE.

This laid the foundations for what their sound would become: an auditory onslaught of technical thrash metal, full of groove with some progressive elements.

In the decade since it's conception, musicians from Portugal to the UK have contributed to the band's development, all creating a crucial impact despite having to leave due to personal reasons. Yet, by uniting their strengths, passion, and skills to achieve a shared purpose, SOLDIERS OF RAGE has risen as a formidable entity.

After 10 long years (on and off) The band’s debut album ‘New Age Of Inhumanity’ was finally released in July 2024 and followed by a strong run of shows, both local and overseas, with a standout being a show at Vortex Metal Festival, in Portugal.

The band aims to make 2025 a very strong and memorable year, with an even bigger run of shows along with some surprises on the way.
