Utah Jazz:

When it comes to the drum & bass circuit, Utah Jazz is indeed a rare breed. Bearing a true love for both DJing and the studio, 2008 saw him fully emerge as a pioneer on both fronts, representing on some of the top labels in the game including V Recordings, Good Looking and Hospital. With his name behind the legendary, It's A Jazz Thing, Utah's debut album and the following drops Vintage, Groove Therapy & now Portfolio, the d&b dynamo has utilised a full cross-over of followers from around the world, formulating himself a global dancefloor to soak in a stock of soul-drenched fusions.

Bcee:

The man behind some of the most soulful, delicate drum & bass records ever recorded, BCee has been delivering deep vibes since 2002. Founding his own label Spearhead in 2005, BCee has helped develop and nurture other fellow talents signing early productions from the likes of S.P.Y, Alix Perez and Lenzman. When he's not knee-deep in 170 vibes, he can be found hard at work on his own smallholding farm.

Rise is currently the only D&B focused event in Swansea, based in Sin City, with the best sound system in the area. We aim to cater not only to Students, but Drum & Bass heads from all over Swansea and the surrounding areas. We have a strong selection of highly experienced resident DJs and MCs from Swansea and Cardiff. As students, we understand that money is tight, so we'll make sure our ticket and drinks prices are reasonable and affordable for everyone.

We are dedicated to advancing Drum & Bass culture in Swansea and feel passionate about the music, as well as the people that come with it. We'll be showing you something different from the norm, with a lot of surprises along the way that you may have never seen at an event before. We hope you're as excited as we are!
