Moonrakers

The Northern tour of Moonrakers (www.moonrakers.net) culminates in the White Room at Yellow Arch Studios on Sunday 13th Oct. Come and enjoy an ambient multi-instrumental evening with harmonies, choruses and some roots history. 

Four-piece Moonrakers (Celtic harp, cello, stringed instruments, whistles, keyboard, female/male vocals), pride themselves on having brought traditional and contemporary folk music to new audiences in village halls, churches, and arts centres across the country. With songs and tunes from the English, Irish and Scottish tradition as well as their own compositions, they’ve been described as “startlingly talented” (Oxford Times), with five albums of "exquisite music"(BBC) and "truly wonderful" (Wycombe Festival) performances. 2023 saw the launch of their latest album ‘Green to Gold’ which has received glowing reviews in the music press (“The real deal”, The Living Tradition; “Uplifting, sensitively crafted songs and tunes” FATEA magazine, “Simultaneously timeless and startlingly contemporary...wonderful arrangements throughout."
