LipService go off the rails in 'Strangers on a Train Set'!
A work-in-progress sharing of LipService’s new show due to tour in 2019.
Challenging a youth to turn down his music, Irene Sparrow, inventor of the left-handed crochet hook (patent pending, as seen on Dragon’s Den), finds herself under suspicion of murder after the train emerges from a tunnel with a young man dead.
But this is no ordinary train; each passenger is reading a book, and each book is a portal into a parallel universe of train related crime fiction.
With clever use of projection and multiple train sets, LipService give you a whistle stop tour that will leave you breathless and racing for the refreshment coach.
Not only suitable for the legions of fans of LipService’s unique brand of literary lunacy, this sharing gives an insight into how a comedy show is crafted through script, devising and play. The sharing features a Q&A straight after the show to explore the process of making a show going on to tour nationally.
