A night out - with a difference! Unleash your inner artist at our Paint & Sip event, a fun and creative event where you can enjoy great company and a relaxing atmosphere. Led by a talented local Yorkshire artist, this 2-hour session is designed for all skill levels—whether you’re a seasoned painter or just looking to try something new.

We’ll provide everything you need, including a canvas, paint, brushes, and aprons, along with a complimentary glass of Prosecco to get you started. All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to have fun!

Our venue, Polymath has a great selection of wine, beers, cocktails and other soft drinks to choose from. So relax, unwind, and let your creative juices flow at our next Paint & Sip event.

About our Artist:

Amber Sykes, a Yorkshire-based abstract and expressive painter, is celebrated for her intuitive and vibrant style. Drawing from eight years of creative practise, Amber’s experimental approach invites guests to explore their artistic side through playful techniques and guided activities.

How will the event flow?

Arrival:

You’ll be welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco upon arrival. Get settled in, meet your fellow painters, and get comfortable with your materials. If you’d like, you can also order other drinks or snacks from the bar.

First Painting Session:

Our local Yorkshire artist will guide you step-by-step through the first part of your masterpiece. No prior painting experience is needed—just relax, sip your drink, and enjoy the process.

Break:

Take a comfort break, refresh your drink or order some food. This is a great chance to socialise and chat with others about how your painting is coming along.

Second Painting Session:

You’ll continue working on your artwork, adding more details and finishing touches. The artist will be there to help you create something truly special.

Break:

A quick breather before you complete your masterpiece. Grab a final drink or snack from the bar

Final Touches:

Time to add the final details to your painting! The artist will guide you through the finishing touches, ensuring you leave with a piece of art you’re proud of.

Closing and Socialising:
