Following "The Annual", our sell-out last event in May, the biggest old skool event in Plymouth is back for "CHIMED".
A night of seminal dance music icons and an event not to be missed, we are going Orbital, will Move Any Mountain and Take You to the Top whilst making you Rock To The Max!!
For this event we had to go for the largest independent venue in Plymouth – unrivalled lasers, visuals and sound system, and nestled right opposite the legendary Warehouse.
The Depo will be transformed into a one night only Oldskooling haven – over 500 ravers under one roof for an incredible spectacular.

One half of the mighty Orbital, and the heart, in Hartnoll, Phil Hartnoll is true rave royalty.
Orbital helped soundtrack an entire generation with tracks like ‘Chime’, ‘Halycon’ and Belfast, and with their legendary performances at Glastonbury Phil and his brother Paul can lay claim to kicking down the doors for an entire electronic music scene.
As a DJ, the glint in Phil’s eye is just as bright as his trademark Orbital glasses. He has a mischievous tiggerish energy and an unrivalled connection between the people and music he loves, that is absolutely impossible to resist.
For over 30 years he has been inviting audiences to embark on a journey through the past, present, and future of electronic music and it’s a journey he obviously loves making as much as the crowd.
Fresh from smashing Glastonbury and a residency at Radio 1, touring Australia and New Zealand with Ministry of Sound, and storming series of sets alongside CONRADICAL across UK the Ireland - it’s clear the beat never stops and Phil never sleeps.
What to expect? Orbital classics, unreleased gems, and the unexpected. Phil’s sets bring feet to the floor, tears to eyes and joy to your heart.

Know your history! Mr. C started MCing in London clubs aged 16 & soon earned a reputation as a fast talking vivacious rapper working with LWR radio's Ron Tom, Jasper the Vinyl Junkie & Jazzy M. Mr. C then hooked up with Colin Faver & Evil Eddie Richards in 1986 to became resident rapper at the legendary Camden Palace in London, going on to MC for Colin Faver on the then illegal pirate radio station Kiss FM. A true pioneer and ingrained in the music we love today.
We all know that Mr.C is best known as front man, songwriter & producer of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 UK hits including Move Any Mountain, Love Sex Intelligence, Boss Drum, Phorever People & the UK Number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. These tunes were hits the world over. The Shamen album Boss Drum went double platinum in the UK & Mr C also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year UK in 1992/93.
His contribution to the scene is unbelievable whether that promoting the underground in 88, to bringing rave to the masses, or running the incredible The End superclub.
Mr C will be performing The Shamen hits in a LIVE PA with his percussionist – absolutely not to be missed!
DREAM FREQUENCY
Originally signed by XL Recordings, Dream Frequency are of a true icon of the music we love. Their sets and live performances were stuff of legend, achieving mainstream success in the early 90’s spending six weeks in the Top 40.
Take Me To The Top, Feel So Real, Living The Dream and more, are part of our heritage, being a regular staple of Pete Tongs Essential Selection in 1991 and 1992. They went on to become the house legends that are Dancing Divaz, but we had the absolute pleasure of hosting the original Dream Frequency back at our Warehouse and Lido events last year, and couldn’t wait to get them back again.
Dream Frequency are currently one of the most in demand old skool acts in the UK, and when you see them, you will know why! Anyone who attended the Warehouse will know.
ELLIS DEE
The Captain! Absolute rave royalty and one of our Oldskooling residents. A DJ that has contributed so much from the origins of rave in 1988. As part of Rhythm Section he was a soundtrack to a generation.
His seminal Ellis Dee Project records including Rock To The Max and Desire, were played nationwide, week in week out at every warehouse and venue, from Obsession to World Dance.
His closing set at Fantazia Bournemouth is still the stuff of legend. Everyone has a memory of The Captain DJ’ing, and Oldskooling wouldn’t be the same without Ellis Dee.
