Staffordshire based five-piece The Hiding Place pride themselves on being hard to pigeon-hole. Treading the lines between post-hardcore, gloomy punk, grunge and old-schoolemo, the band have a broad range of influences that they focus into an intense and powerful sound that never fails to impress audiences. Their energetic live show has landed the band support slots with a wide array of acts such as letlive, Funeral For A Friend, We Are The Ocean, Inme, He Is Legend, Mallory Knox and Feed The Rhino.
The band released their EP ‘So This Is Home’ at the end of 2014 to great reviews from such places as Rocksound and New Noise. They then preceded to tour the UK as much as possible since then in support of the EP and its popular lead single ‘Guts,’ which received considerable airplay on BBC Introducing.
Now in 2016 the band are currently working on a follow up release that will in equal parts thrill and surprise their fanbase and new fans alike.
