TechJam 2024 is an innovative festival dedicated to digital transformation, set to take place in Middlesbrough Town Hall on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024. It is designed to highlight the importance of digital innovation in business and how it can help business owners solve problems, create new products, reduce costs, increase sales, and improve customer service.

As part of the Tees Valley Digital Transformation Programme, the event will endeavor to offer a unique blend of industry content and engaging experiences for businesses across the Tees Valley area.

Attendees will learn from the UK's leading entrepreneurs, investors, and technology experts, gaining valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations. The event will feature various interactive workshops, providing attendees with tangible outcomes to implement into their businesses.

The event will begin with a welcome introduction for all attendees in the Reception Area. Upon arrival, participants will receive their event tickets and information packs, setting the stage for the day. We have many exciting keynote speakers who will provide insightful business advice and information. To start, Siobhan McArdle, Chair of the Business Board, will conduct the opening talk. Piers Linney, James Peach, and Neil Martin will follow her. All are renowned for their experience in the tech industry, branding, and Formula One, respectively.

Frequent collaborator Phil Veal will share his expertise in a focused workshop session in the Courtroom. Additionally, the founder of Juiced, a prominent graphic design company in Middlesbrough, Rob Bedford, will also take the stage later in the day.

A special spotlight session will be hosted featuring a local business owner whose business has been transformed by the Digital Transformation Project. A local business leader from the Tees Valley will share their experiences demonstrating how digital transformation has positively impacted their operations. This presentation will offer valuable insights into real-world technology applications in the Tees Valley region.

The Crypt will host a series of interactive activities, including racing and flight simulations, arcade machines, a DJ-led silent disco, and a showcase of digital artwork. These experiences are designed to provide attendees with hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies in a fun and engaging setting. The Old Fire Station will serve as a relaxed networking area where attendees can take a break from the formal sessions to connect with peers, discuss ideas, and build valuable business relationships in an informal setting.

The day will conclude with an Evening Networking Event, allowing attendees to connect with speakers, industry leaders, and fellow participants. This informal gathering will be an excellent chance to discuss the day's learnings, share ideas, and form new business partnerships.

TechJam 2024 aims to revolutionise traditional business support events by combining the energy and excitement of a music festival with the practical, informative benefits of a business conference.
