Join us for a well-deserved evening where you can wind down, reflect, and have the opportunity to connect with other students! The evening will consist of a yoga session followed by a creative journalling activity, with a chance to connect with other students!
Who can attend?
We are the African Caribbean Medical Society, but this event is open to everyone on all courses. We also proudly welcome all genders, ethnicities and fitness levels!
Why yoga?
Physically, yoga can relieve pain, support better sleep, and increase flexibility, strength, and balance. Yoga is also beneficial for mental well-being. It can reduce anxiety and depression, help with stress management and improve concentration. You can learn more about the benefits during the event.
Note from instructor:
Please wear something comfortable that can be tucked in, and (if you can) avoid eating anything before the class. Please let me know of any specific needs I should be aware of before the class.
We really hope to see you at this event for a well-deserved wind-down after a day of working hard at Uni!!
Location: Simon Building, Wellbeing Studios G.66
* If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us before the event or notify a member of the committee at some point during the evening. We respect your privacy and will accommodate your request not to be included in any photography.
