Fab Friday 'Old School' Night with FREE FOOD & Happy Hour

Fancy a great Friday night out? How about 'Fab Friday' at Kanaloa .. Its a brand new venue for us, so lets check it out, and see what it is like! 

ADVANCE WARNING!: Please do not come to this event if you want quiet intimate conversations in an tranquil ambiance as it is loud & lively & full on from minute one! Friday night is party time in London, try the Library! 

Kanaloa London is a quirky, tiki-inspired bar in the heart of London with beaches and treetops! The bar area of Kanaloa consists of a long black bamboo bar front, surrounded by carved wooden pillars and screens providing discreet alcoves. Once inside the cocktails are not to be missed. Various flamboyant and exotic cocktails mixes make up the menu and there are wines, beers and even champagne for those who fancy something a little different. 

EVENT INFO: 

I'll be hosting the event so will be there to meet & greet you, introduce you to other guests (if you wish) mingle. Please check in with me or another event host when you arrive, I'll be around on holding a clipboard looking official & if you arrive later I may be slightly tipsy! I'm hosting & doing intros from 6.30-9.00 so please arrive at this time to receive your welcome. I'll be staying until 10-10.30, after which time I turn into a pumpkin, but some members may stay on after this time.

We will be having some FREE FOOD (share of a sharing platter, to go round everybody and not enough for a main meal!) If you need to order something more substantial, food is available (and really nice!) please order with Bar Staff

HOW TO FIND KANALOA 

Nearest Tubes: Chancery Lane. You need to be on the same side as 'The Inn of Court' & McDonalds. Please ask station staff for help if you need it. 
Please do some research and plan your journey using smartphone googlemaps/streetmap or just an old fashioned London A-Z before you leave, not when you arrive at the tube station. Have some idea where you are going. Some places in London can be difficult to find and I cannot be held responsible for people getting lost or not able to find places.  

HOW TO FIND OUR AREA IN KANALOA
Upon arrival you will need to ask the Reception Staff (to your left as you walk in) where our reserved area/table is. They will personally walk you over to the table. We are in 'The Club Room', We will have A4 standup signs on the table for the duration of the hosting period (6.30-10pm)
Important Info - Please read: 
• Dress Code: This venue operates a smart dress code, smart/casual - no trainers, sportswear or ripped jeans. FS is not responsble if you are unable to enter because you are not correctly dressed 
• Price is £3, includes marketting, meetup site fees, hosts expenses, travel expenses, organisation and administration
• Please make an effort to chat to people, participate and and mingle at the event. I bring venue and people together and there is no formula for fun. 
• If you RSVP & change your mind, please cancel your RSVP. Regular no-showers prevent the enjoyment of meetups for other meetupers, so if you do not attend, you will be marked as a no show, and may be deleted from the group.
• Please arrive earlier for better mingling and intros, especially if you are a new member. Its very hard for me to do intros later on in the night when people are well into their convos and a bit tipsy. 
• We do not guarantee 50/50 m to f ratio for this event, but we will try! I do not guarantee how many people are going to turn up for the actual event or who is.. please see the RSVP list for who plans to attend. 
• Places are non refundable, however you should let me know if for some reason you are unable to attend.
