SM Presents some of the best new Manchester talent:
Mercy Kelly: The Greater Manchester 4-piece formed during the winter of 2019; channeling a stirring mix of chorus wave guitar sounds and stadium sized melodies. Originally starting out as an acoustic songwriting partnership between frontman Jack Marland and lead guitarist Adam Bridge, the group gradually morphed into its current incarnation with new members Michael Shenton and Joel Buckley joining on drums and bass respectively. The band released their debut single ‘Anymore’ in March 2021 to strong reviews; including notable praise from The Chameleons frontman Mark Burgess.
“There’s a real talent to this young band – in the poetic lyricism, in the anthemic sound destined for a much bigger stage. Mercy Kelly bring a new romantic charm all of their own” (RGM)
25th Hour: Formed on 9/4/18, 25th Hour have emerged as a highly anticipated band from Manchester. With the combination of Indie-Alternative musical influences behind powerful female-fronted vocals, 25th Hour create a fresh original sound.
CAii: CAii is a singer, songwriter and producer who makes outspoken, defiant, autobiographical pop music referencing mental health issues, toxic relationships and her experience as a young woman in the modern world. Influenced by artists such as Banks, Fleetwood Mac and Nirvana, her songwriting fuses relatable, raw lyrics with dramatic production and soaring vocals culminating in her unique take on dark, electronic pop.
