Girls Get Social: Birthday Brunch 🎂

Celebrate 1 year of making friendships with us...

1 year ago, Girls Get Social was born - starting off with a simple autumn brunch for 9 girlies looking to make friends for life. Over the past year, we have grown so beautifully and come so far, so what better way to celebrate than to go back to where we started! Join us on Sunday 10th November for a celebration like no other. We'll be throwing the most special, wholesome birthday party - a brunch full of good food, games & laughs for the memory books. Whether it is your 1st or 10th event with us, we would love for you to join us on this special occasion.

What will happen at the event?

• Before the event, The GGS team will create a WhatsApp group for the attendees so you can put faces to who's attending, arrange meetup points & just say hi before the big day! Attendees will be added to the WhatsApp within 2 days of purchasing a ticket. Please include your mobile number when you buy a ticket to ensure that you will be added.

• 12pm - Doors open. When your ticket is scanned at the door, the GGS team will be there to greet you!
• Choose from a variety of breakfast and lunch choices to dig into - alongside a wide range of hot, cold & alcoholic drinks
• Reminisce on the past year with the friends you have made throughout this past year. If you are new to the community, this is the perfect place and time for you to start on your friendship-making journey!
• Take part in various games throughout the afternoon to break the ice. There will be a wide range of board games around the room and party games for us all to join in.
• Come home with a good old-fashioned party bag full of goodies and treats for the road & a bucket full of memories
• Throughout this beautiful day for the memory books, feel free to mix, mingle and make some friends!
• 4pm - The party's over, time to part ways! Head home safely or feel free to take the party elsewhere and carry on the fun with the friends that you have made 😊

Ticket Information

• Tickets are non-refundable. However, if your plans change and you can't make it, let a member of the GGS team know ASAP & advertise your ticket via the Ticket Resell Chat in our WhatsApp Community. Please note: exchanges unfortunately can't be 100% guaranteed, but we will be trying our very best to get it done!

• Tickets are £5 and will be on sale until Monday 4th November 2024. Please note that this date may be extended or cut off earlier. If this occurs, it will be announced on our social media platforms.

Girls Get Social is proud to be a not-for-profit organisation, meaning 100% of the profit from every ticket sold goes back into the running of our events, making the best experiences for our girls!

Travel

Please note: for your safety, the location address & details will be kept private and revealed upon purchase.

For solo-goers, nervous attendees or girls who want someone to walk with, we will set up a meet-up point in a well accessible area! We will let you know a few days before the event the exact details on where to meet up & who will be meeting you (with pictures so you can put a face to a name!)

Car - Our nearby Car Parks to the venue are Lode Lane Pay and Display Car Park & Touchwood Car Park

Bus - Our nearest bus stops to our location are on Solihull Town Centre (approx. 2-5 minute walk)

Train - Solihull station is a very quick 8-minute walk from our location, & a super quick 6 minute train ride from Birmingham Moor Street Station

Friendly reminders

• All Girls Get Social events are open to 18+ only, please ensure you bring ID for proof of age at entry and at the bar.
• Please note that there will be some photography at the event. This will be taken on the GGS team's phones and will potentially be used for social media & marketing purposes. Please state when purchasing your ticket - by selecting "I DO NOT give consent" - if you'd prefer for your picture not to be taken!
• We request that this social event be full of positive vibes and that guests refrain from acting negatively towards others. If there are grievances that need addressing or arguments to be had we require them to be discussed outside the event. If any conflict does arise at our event (which is very unlikely) we will kindly ask you to leave and tickets cannot be refunded.
