Come along to 'The Coo Revue' as it rolls into Brighton's Folkore Rooms - A travelling feast of music, poetry and spoken word hosted by international indie folk band 'The Coo'.
This evening they will be joined by spoken word artists Phoebe Hopwood and Naomi Wood.
THE COO
"...some artists just sound like they were made to work together and The Coo are no exception, their harmonies are a soothing balm for the chaos of today."
Folk Radio UK
The Coo’s journey started with a serendipitous meeting at an Amsterdam open mic, and has since evolved into a deep musical and personal relationship that bridges the North Sea. Matt Arthur (The Violet Hum) and Jara Holdert (Lewin) write and sing songs together in two-part harmony, reminiscent of the warm late 60s and early 70s sound of artists such as Carole King & James Taylor and Angus & Julia Stone.
Expect intimate, captivating and melodic acoustic performances this spring as they tour the UK for the first time since the lockdown.
“...a gorgeously warm folk-pop combo”
