Makk headlines at Harrogates iconic Major Tom's Social with support from Marnie Glum, Rufus Beckett and Major Tom's own Lauren Wray and Sam Kay.

Makk is an indie singer songwriter living in Harrogate, North Yorkshire who's music both moves and uplifts in equal measure. His genre is hard to define continually evolving and taking inspiration from what he is listening to at the time. With passionate and evocative vocals, expect to hear folk, blues, pop and Americana. Musical influences include; Bon Iver, AA Bondy, Chet Faker and The Tallest Man on Earth.
After a hiatus from music Makk started recording and releasing over a decades worth of music as a solo artist earlier this year with a recent live performance and showcase on BBC Introducing. Makk will be playing music from his up and coming EP projects due for release this autumn and winter as well as current releases available on all streaming platforms. Marnie Glum is a Leeds-based musician who began her music career in York's acoustic scene. Having quickly caught the attention of BBC introducing she went on to support the likes of Sam Griffiths of the Howl and Hum and more recently Brodie Milner. Her name Marnie Glum is born out of her expertise in writing "sad bops". Influences ranging from Paul Anka and Ella Fitzgerald to Phoebe Bridgers and Mitski. Marnie uses delicate vocals and carefully crafted lyrics to tell their own stories.
Rufus Beckett is a Harrogate based musician known for his work in the Four45s and The Paper Waits. As a songwriter he combines intricate guitar parts and interesting wordplay. Rufus will be performing music from his new EP out for release soon.
Major Tom's Lauren Wray and Sam Kay are well known and loves by the regulars. Lauren is an outstanding vocalist and with the help from Sam on the guitar they are not to be missed.
In addition Major Toms will have an excellent menu of home fired pizzas, craft beers and real ales available on the night.
