Eastwood Events presents: Mental Health Awareness Show + Fundraiser for Mental Health UK (Charity). For World Mental Health day on Thursday 10th October. This event will be held at The Folklore Rooms in Brighton. For the evening, we will be performers; George Crump (headliner), Kocapoli, Just Like Honey and Natsuma.
About our acts...
George Crump: George Crump is a synth-pop producer and songwriter based in Brighton (UK) who collaborates with female and non-binary artists. Growing up as a CODA (Child of deaf adults), George first experienced music through TV shows, sparking a deep love for pop music. Influenced by early Miley Cyrus, you can hear this nostalgia in George's writing - those catchy, feel-good elements inspired by countless hours of watching Disney channel.
Kocapoli: Twin sisters Alice & Kit and brother Billy Twamley have been playing together since they were little, joined by George Weller on Drums and Jack Bales on bass. Kocapoli blend Folk, Soul, and Alternative across and within their songs, weaving across bloodline harmonies with funky and positive energy.
Just Like Honey: ‘Shoegaze inspired dreamy girl band just hanging out’ .
Natsuma : Natsuma, from London, began honing her craft since the age of 2, strumming her plastic toy guitar. Nat went on to learn various instruments, gaining fascination for production (producing her music herself). Natsuma has also earned her stripes as a touring session musician and has played for the likes of City Baser, Lexi Caroll, Humble The Great, Gretel (who she also opened up for on tour around the UK, US and EU). Nat's euphoric indie sound is really just beginning to shine through after years of experimenting and dabbling in different genres.
