Liminal MAP Major Project Showcase: The Metropolitan City of Àbíkú

by Tolulope Ami-Williams

Exploring the intertwined relationships between urbanism, nature and communal identities, drawing parallels between experiences in Lagos, Nigeria, and Manchester, UK as reference points. It provokes the thought that the birth of urbanisation is a threat to nature, and the death of nature is a threat to urbanisation.

Venue: Holden Gallery

Trigger warnings: May trigger thoughts of death and violence.
