Christmas Social: Ice Skating x Karaoke

Get into the festive season! Come and get your skates on with AfroSocial, for an evening of iceskating and networking at the newly constructed ice rink in Deansgate. 

Whether this is your first time skater or seasoned one, we can't wait to connect you with like minded individuals. Feeling a bit nervous about skating but want to come along for the social? You can come along for the after for the karaoke.

We will be skating for 45 minutes and then networking for the remainder of the evening.

6.30pm: Arrive: for 
7.00pm: Skating starts from .
8.00pm: After the skating, if you’re still in the mood, you can go and sing some Christmas songs in the karaoke hut or you can head down to Manchester’s Christmas markets 

Can I bring my own skates?

Skaters are welcome to bring their own skates, noting this will not alter the price of your ticket. Speed Skates are not permitted on the ice, and organisers reserve the right not to allow a person to use their own skates if they decide that they are not suitable. We do not sharpen personal ice skates.
