Stan Buckroyd LIVE at Little Buildings, Newcastle. 

Stan Buckroyd is just at the beginning of his musical journey, making himself heard on the UK scene. Coming off the back of his first UK tour and with a full ep recorded and ready to be released, 2024 is looking like a vital year for Stan and his growth as an artist.

He started writing songs at the age of 9 and now being 21 some would say they’ve gotten a little better… you’d hope so anyway. Stan takes inspiration from a mix of artists such as The Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, Oasis and The Smiths; and often being the case, he inherited his music taste from his parents. Channeling these indie influences and his own unique writing style, Stan creates his own form of indie rock that gives a lot more space for the lyrics.

Stan has had features on Radio X, XS Manchester and BBC Introducing; and also got a slot at YNOT Festival 2023 with BBC Introducing playing to circa 2000 people. For what 2024 has install for him we can’t know, but the year will definitely be a turning point for Stan Buckroyd and his career.
