Following on from a strong trio of releases during 2022, Tay Temple is set to make waves on the UK music scene in the coming months, beginning with her single “Still Here” early this month, which has only continued in a robust set of releases over the past few months for the alternative rock singer. With an explosive array of original music under her belt, she’s wowed audiences across the North West and beyond, performing at a number of notable venues over the past few years with her band.

Her new single “Still Here” encapsulates the ever-present fighting spirit in Tay’s music, with a desire to rewrite the narrative of what is deemed ‘the norm’ in the broken system we live in. Her direct lyricism serves as a poignant reminder that the world does not accommodate everyone, and her creativity is fuelled by her personal struggles, experiences and societal issues; including her journey as a queer woman.

With a motivation that drives her to creative heights day in and day out, you can tell that this is going to be a formidable year for Tay’s music, regardless of anything that comes her way.
