Once dubbed the ‘beat-don’ Mark Batley is now more of a beatnik these days, and this time he’s singing a few songs about the ways of cupid and the human condition. Batley’s bluesy crooning folky wry, and dry style is somewhere between Dylan and the faded elegance of Velvet Underground. He Will be joined by agent provocateur Terry Forshaw, who will lend a dark Cohen-like presence to their set, where they will debut new material.
