The Bar Cabana Mini Northern tour starts in Manchester.

1st time in the north has part of mini tour. The amazing artist are here for the weekend with class and social on the Friday 4th.
Then Saturday 5th April we head to Birmingham at Solihull Landrover with 2x hour afternoon workshops. Then later in the evening they will be teaching and performing their UK debut Show at LatinMotion.
6th Afternoon Workshops still to be confirmed.

Yohan & Elaine will be bringing you amazing classes, workshops and show has part of "The Roots Of Salsa" Son Con Afro, Salsa Con Rumba, Cuban Partner work and Afro Cubano and much more.

Yohan Fernández Figueredo

Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Yohan was introduced to the world of dance by chance when a neighbor invited him to join a performance team that accompanied a group of musicians. From his very first performance, he fell in love with the stage and began developing his skills by joining various dance companies.
In 2015, he worked as a dancer with La Cofradía de la Tradición, supporting the renowned Son group Septeto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro. Between 2016 and 2020, he was part of the Proyecto Rueda de Casino company, where he met Elaine during a show in December 2016.
Passionate about Afro-Cuban dances, many of which are tied to the Yoruba religion, Yohan achieved one of his greatest dreams in August 2017: joining the Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba as a professional dancer. This prestigious institution is a leader in the preservation and dissemination of Cuban traditional music and dances.

Elaine Runderkamp

Originally from Volendam, the Netherlands, Elaine began her dance journey at the age of 11, inspired by video clip choreographies such as Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty." By the age of 16, she was performing as a dancer for Dutch musicians in styles such as street dance and hip-hop.
In 2015, she traveled to India, where she delved deeper into spiritual practices and earned a certification as a yoga instructor.
Her passion for salsa was ignited during her first Latin event in Amsterdam, leading her to Cuba in 2016 to learn and master this dance. She spent two months in Havana, where she met Yohan. In 2018, she joined Proyecto Rueda de Casino as a professional dancer. Additionally, she received private training from Lazara Nápoles, a distinguished instructor from the Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba, specializing in Afro-Cuban dances from their roots.
In 2020, Y&E relocated from Cuba to the Netherlands and began sharing their passion with the world. By 2022, they had entered the international festival scene and launched their successful online CDC Dance Academy.
