Lockbox Live, The Yard Film and Alt Scene MCR present a showcase of the best up-and-coming alternative artists the North West has to offer in an intimate in the round performance. We are joined by Manchester's very own DR DR and BEAM NOIR for an evening of gut retching riffs, monstrous bass lines and more attitude than your nan when countdown is on the telly.

Inspired by Queens Of The Stone Age, Death From Above 1979 and Nine Inch Nails. DR DR explore themes of addiction, depression and mental health through their riff heavy music and have amassed over 100,000 streams since releasing their debut EP. Their latest single 'Gimme Love' follows the fictional story of two star crossed lovers on the run. It touches on the infatuation between the pair & their addiction to each other’s love.

"I wanted to write a song you could shout out in frustration. A frustration that comes from loving someone with every fibre of your being. A love so strong it’s borderline toxic. Sometimes you can over complicate a song. This isn’t one of those songs. It’s straight to the point. It’s another story about love & it’s yours. BEAM NOIR's explosive electronica inspired music is crafted by an impressive blend of heavy bass lines, up-tempo rhythms and angsty vocals. The band are quickly becoming a must see in the Manchester and are guaranteed to blow your socks and other appendage covers clean off. 

Opening the show are North West titans SUGARSTONE. After a rawkus headline show at The Deaf Institute in Manchester, the band bring their powerhouse of a live show to Cheetham Hill. Get down early as this is not something to be missed.
