It is with great delight that we announce the line-up for our 6th Birthday. Saturday 22nd April at Public Reading (VOID Soundsystem) with a rock solid musical line-up to celebrate the occasion.

Tickets are cheaper than our previous Reading club nights to reflect the good vibes we are after (£5-8 in advance). With a smaller capacity than usual for Cubed there are not many available either. Go get ‘em while you can from www.cubed.club

It's true that hard work and dedication are the key to success, which young North-Eastern star Denney realised when his first smash hit 'Ultraviolet' was signed by the infamous Hot Creations camp, leading to huge international success. He was fast named 'Future Hero' in Mixmag and the track held a strong position at Number 1 in the best selling vinyl chart on Juno and gained him support from heavyweights Sasha, Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, MANDY, Pete Tong and many more.

Prior to this Denney had spent years playing at club nights around the North of England and working for the legendary Back to Basics in Leeds. With hours spent educating himself on music, networking and spending countless hours in the studio he soon began to reap the rewards of his hard work with releases on highly acclaimed labels such as VIVa Music, Saved Records, 2020 Vision and of course Hot Creations.

Denney's undeniable talents as a DJ have lead him to play all over the world including Europe, Australia and America, with a highlight at the notorious DC10 in Ibiza for Jamie Jones' Paradise. His style is unmistakable with a unique blend of house and techno with a distinct ability to create a special atmosphere. Playing alongside some of the world’s biggest names, Denney has shown a modest, unfaltering style - whether playing a warm up or main room set he always delivers.

Starting 2017 with a solid EP on Heidi’s Jackathon Jams label which features the house music aficionado’s Derrick Carter and Roger Sanchez and a ‘Full Circle EP’ Tour across the UK and North and South America in February and March, Denney is set to have his biggest year to date.

Bowler quickly made a name for himself as an incredibly accomplished underground selector on the Reading scene, throwing some wonderful Systematik club nights, going on to become an SW4 resident. A natural in booth he has shared billing with the likes of Eric Prydz, Seth Troxler, Pan-Pot, Joris Voorn, Nic Fanciulli, Eats Everything, Solomun, Dusky, Magda...expect rugged house & techno.

Cowlin (Whistle Louder)

Cowlin’s relentless passion for the music scene has taken him beyond his loyal Reading fan base – reaching wider audiences with DJ sets at venues such as Egg, Fire, Ministry Of Sound, XOYO, Motion, Switch Southampton... Cowlin has also rocked festivals including We Are FSTVL, Bugged Out, Lockdown Festival & The Social Festival.

Always continuing to hone his craft as a DJ, recently sharing booths with artists such as B-Traits, Eats Everything, Heidi, Hot Since 82, Jackmaster, Patrick Topping, Skream and Steve Lawler to name just a few...

His editorial brand ‘Whistle Louder’ has started to create a buzz in the underground clubbing scene. Cowlin has published features and articles for some of the biggest labels, artists, and events across the world – a reflection of Cowlin’s genuine love and curiosity for the culture in which he is rapidly finding his voice...Not bad progress for this 24-year-old house music hustler who has just signed his debut track ‘Get Hype’ with Phonetic Records which is to be released 17th March 2017...

Iglesias (MadTech Records)

Iglesias is a 23 year old, DJ/Producer from Bournemouth who’s sound has evolved significantly over the years. The music Iglesias plays whilst Djing, is meant to be physically experienced as much as heard. His DJ sets are acquired with a uniquely rave-inspired energy focusing on music with an infectious groove that will keep his crowd from start to finish. This has made natural habitat a packed, kinetically charged dance floor for many years. Within his own productions, his aim is to define an entirely new type of underground music combining classic disco movements with more modern forward thinking tech house.

After recently launching his own night ‘Decibel UK’, he has welcomed some of the biggest DJs in the world to perform alongside him with most recently Steve Lawler performing for him.

He has released on Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records and a huge back catalogue of music ready for 2017.
