We know that it can be overwhelming when looking at what freshers’ events to buy tickets for so we have listed some red flags that you should look out for before buying tickets:

🚩 No Venues listed for the event
🚩 No previous photos or video evidence of events happening
🚩 Small event following, companies with big Fatsoma following are known to be reputable

FAQ SECTION 🙋🏼‍♂️

🗣️ Can I bring a friend to the event even if they don’t come to Reading University?
Yes you can! Your friends are welcome to attend our event but they will still need to purchase their ticket. Every student is allowed 1 non-student guest to attend with them.

🗣️ Why do the tickets come in different price tiers?
There is only a limited number of tickets that we can sell. Therefore we operate a festival-style ticketing system. The earlier you buy your ticket, the cheaper it will be!

🗣️Does my ticket need to be in my name?
No it doesn’t! We just need the barcode on your ticket. However, we do not recommend buying off third parties due to the risk of scams.

🗣️Do I need to bring ID?
Yes! You will need to show a valid form of ID upon entry into the Students Union. This is in line with the national guidelines and nightclub entry requirements policy. No ID, no entry.
